I really wanted to love this place, especially since it looks incredible on paper. Unfortunately, I took my partner here for his birthday, and it turned into a disappointment. It feels like a classic case of "we made it into the Michelin Guide, so now the customers will come no matter what." We ordered the set menu (Menu Familjen). The first course was decent, but it was all downhill from there. The beef in the main course was almost inedible—very stringy, fibrous and so tough that I had to spit some of it out. I'm not sure if this was due to poor cooking or just a cheap cut of meat. When I mentioned this to the waiter, she kindly offered to replace it, but since my partner's was equally bad, I declined. After seeing Gotaplatsen, it may be a nice idea to visit this bar. Among other Scandinavian and Swedish cuisune places to visit, Familjen can be one of the best. Tasty salads, entrecote and beef tartare can make a favorable impression on you. Many reviewers note that ice cream here is good. According to the guests' opinions, waiters serve delicious wine, beer or gin. Order the great latte offered here.

Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking.
This lively, friendly eatery is divided into three parts: a bar with bench seating and an open kitchen; a bright red room with a characterful cellar and a glass wine cave; and a superb wrap-around terrace. The good value cooking is rich and hearty, with a touch of originality here and there More info
